When my husband and I are lucky enough to get a sitter, and we have energy to make the trek outside of Annapolis, these are the places we go to dance salsa. Most of these spots feature a beginner/intermediate lesson to open up the night --and open dancing until 2 or 3 am. (But we usually get there by 9pm, dance every song and we are completely exhausted by midnight :) )

- Havana Village ( in Adams Morgan) - 1834 Columbia Rd NW Washington, DC 20009 (202) 462-6310 www.habanavillage.com My 2 Cents: Great place on Fridays/Saturday, sweatbox alert --its hot as heck in there. (Do not go there after getting your hair done.) Dance floor is tiny and cramped, but it does have a nice cuban feel. Ladies get in free, men are $6. Dress code: casual -ish
