Beverley Hammond Jack, 91, of Annapolis

Beverley Hammond Jack, 91, a 47-year resident of Bay Ridge, Annapolis, died May 26, 2015, at Bay Woods.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Beverley received a BA in psychology at Berkley, CA. and a BS in business from Anne Arundel Community College. She was a real estate agent in Annapolis, worked for the Annapolis Capital , and was an auditor for the Department of Natural Resources in Annapolis.

Beverley married Eugene Bryce Jack in 1947 and as a military wife, lived in many places and was a member of a USO Troop during WWII. Beverley was an active member of the Bay Ridge community serving as president and board member, was on the Bay Ridge Zoning Committee and a Bay Ridge Trust Organizer.

She enjoyed reading, especially mystery novels, sewing, cross word puzzles, genealogy and British sitcom having watched every episode of every sitcom there ever was. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 1970.

Beverley is survived by three sons; Eric Jack of Baltimore, MD; Timothy Jack, Los Angeles, CA and Larry Jack of Annapolis, MD. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Anne Goetz, Mary Esther, FL; Cathy Toole, Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 7, from 2-4 p.m. at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. in Annapolis, where services will begin at 4 p.m.

Interment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
