Bicyclist Fatally Struck In Annapolis Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

A bicyclist was fatally struck in an Annapolis hit-and-run crash, police said. The victim was 74 years old.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A bicyclist died after a Tuesday hit-and-run crash in Annapolis, city police said. Officers have not yet released the name of the 74-year-old male victim.

Authorities said they heard about the collision in the unit block of Hilltop Lane near Merryman Road around 10:07 p.m.

The man died on the scene from his injuries, police said.

Officers said the striking vehicle did not stay on the scene. Authorities are still looking for the involved vehicle. Police did not give a description of that vehicle.

The wreck closed Hilltop Lane in both directions during the crash reconstruction, officers said.
