Biden To Speak At Naval Academy Graduation
President Joe Biden will speak at the Naval Academy's graduation next month. About 1,100 midshipmen will cross the stage that day.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — President Joe Biden will speak at the U.S. Naval Academy's commencement next month.
The Naval Academy announced the news Thursday morning. The graduation is scheduled for May 27 at 10 a.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. About 1,100 midshipmen will cross the stage that day.
Midshipmen don't have to pay tuition. In exchange, they serve at least five years as an officer in the Navy or the Marine Corps.

The Naval Academy said 829 graduates from the Class of 2022 will head to the Navy and 279 will enter the Marines.
The ceremony is closed to the public, but residents can watch a livestream on the Naval Academy's Facebook and YouTube pages.

Commencement is part of Commissioning Week, which marks the start of the graduates' military careers.
As usual, the Blue Angels will fly over the graduation. The pilots will also perform in a May 25 air show over Annapolis.
