Woman's Body Found In Parole Behind Business: Update

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a death Tuesday after a body was found in some woods in the 2000 block of Industrial Drive in Parole.

An autopsy will be conducted by the State Medical Examiner’s office to determine a cause of death, and the person's identity, said Cpl. Jackie Davis of the police department.

Preliminary findings are that the deceased is an adult female with slight decomposition, police said.

Detectives will be working through the evening/night. Authorities have no information on the manner of death.

Police were dispatched to the scene about 2:30 p.m. 

There are no road closures in the area because of the investigation.

The location is behind a Premier Fitness gym, reports The Capital-Gazette.
