Bomb Squad Gives All-Clear in Annapolis: Update

Updated at 2:30 p.m. ANNAPOLIS, MD — The area of Admiral Drive and Old Admiral Court in Annapolis is open and there is no danger, say Anne Arundel County Police, who investigated a report of a suspicious package there.

An unattended book bag was seen on the sidewalk. As a precaution, the area was secured and a bomb dog, and fire department personnel checked the bag.

The book bag did not contain anything suspicious, police say, and authorities have wrapped up their investigation.
