Cafe Burglary Suspect Confesses on the Spot: Police
An Arnold teen was charged with trying to break into Cafe Bretton and is a suspect in other burglaries, police say.

An Arnold man found at the scene of failed burglary at Café Bretton in the 800 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Severna Park reportedly confessed on the spot.
Anne Arundel County Police were called to the café about 2 a.m. Thursday by a commercial business alarm.

Police found Benjamin Dean, 18, of 106 Stockton Lane in Arnold walking around the business. Authorites say Dean admitted he had tried to break into the café and investigators spotted damage to its exterior consistent with a recent attempt to burglarize the business.
Officers say the suspect had pry tools in his possession. Dean is being questioned about other burglaries he may be involved in.
