Calling all boys and young men who like to sing!
Boys and young men aged 6-18 years old are invited to audition to become members of the Maryland State Boychoir! Fall Auditions are being held on September 20th, September 24th, October 1st, October 4th, and October 21st.
Why The Maryland State Boychoir?
Boys and young men gather in a supportive community that embraces singing and learning together. The choir performs locally, nationally, and internationally. Within the last three years, the choir has performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Handel Choir of Baltimore, and the Bach in Baltimore Choir and Orchestra. The Maryland State Boychoir performed the National Anthem for the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation Bradley Prizes in Washington, D.C., the Aberdeen Ironbirds Baseball Team, and the Baltimore Ravens Football Team. In addition to these performances, they traveled to Hawaii, the Midwest (Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa), the Great Lakes (Wisconsin, Michigan), Iceland, Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Chile, and Maine, performing and sharing the gift of music.
Our mission to educate boys and young men musically while instilling social skills, responsibility, and honor, giving them the joys of brotherhood, continues after thirty-nine years. Join us!
