Mid Atlantic Community Church

The Talent Machine Company, in partnership with The Penguin Project, presents Willy Wonka Jr., Friday, April 24 at 7 pm and Saturday, April 25 at 2 pm at the MACC Church in Davidsonville. This wonderful musical features our amazingly talented cast of 31 artists with disabilities, partnered with 38 volunteer peer mentors.&nbsp;Tickets are just $15. Seating is general admission.
Based on the book by Roald Dahl, Willy Wonka is about an eccentric candy maker who hides five golden tickets in his chocolate bars. The winners of the tickets get to tour Wonka’s chocolate factory and receive a lifetime supply of chocolate. Don’t miss this delightful show, which can be enjoyed by adults and kids of all ages.

Inspired by her parent’s dedication to sustainable organic gardening, J.I. Rodale’s revolutionary gardening vision and local author Rachel Carson, Jean’s pollinator garden is a sustainable native oasis for butterflies, bees, and a myriad of insects and wildlife. Her garden is certified by the National Wildlife Federation and is part of the Pollinator Pathways, a movement dedicated to native organic practices to maintain a safe and flourishing environment for all creatures. Paint Like a Butterfly was inspired by the experience of witnessing the 1990 butterfly migration in Cape May, New Jersy, and later the overwintering monarchs in Pacific Grove, California.
