According to Matthew 19:24, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”
St. Anne's Episcopal Church’s Eastertide Adult Forum about navigating difficult conversations continues on May 10 when St. Anne’s rector, the Rev. Manoj Mathew Zacharia, Ph.D., uses Matthew 19:16-26 as a guide in a discussion about money.
In the two final sessions of the series, Maria Winters, a licensed clinical professional counselor, will facilitate a discussion on Christian hope on May 17, and Colleen Cruikshank, of the Constructive Dialogue Institute, will equip attendees with tools for discussing religion and politics on May 24. Both will use passages from the Gospel of Matthew as their guide.
Join these theological discussions on May 10, 17 and 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the church's Parish Hall, 199 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, Md. All are welcome.
