City of Baltimore: Charm'tastic Mile Unveils "Table for 2, 4, 6, 8" Famous Streets & Culinary Culture

June 9, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is unveiling its New campaign/slogan "Table for 2, 4 ,6, 8" to promote Charm City Culinary/Dining Culture.

The City of Baltimore has a wonderful dining scene with a numerous variety of culinary options. The "Charm'tastic Mile" as part of its 10th Anniversary (2016-26) wanted to further connect the dynamic foodie-dining culture to "The Mile" for locals and visiting tourists.

When you walk into a popular or busy restaurant you see tables-for-two, for servers (very popular) those 4-tops of 2 couples or 4-business types. The 6 or 8-top might be a family celebrating a birthday, anniversary or gathering of friends before a concert/show. That business 8-top with a nice expense account who orders wines at cost of $75 to $100 per bottle brings in income.

Good nights for a restaurant may see multiple-walk-ins of 2 to 4. A call from a hotel looking for 5-10 people. Most restaurant owners/managers will do everything in their power to accommodate the table(s). It adds to the bottom-line to pay for rents, staff & products (food, alcohol, etc..). These situations with a healthy regular-clientele base keeps the doors open.

The "Table for 2, 4, 6, 8" is also part of the New-Famous Streets & Culinary Culture of Baltimore. The Most Famous/Iconic Street of the city is the USPTO www.uspto.gov, The "Charm'tastic Mile". "Table for 2, 4, 6, 8" will focus on restaurants that are near or on "The Mile". Neighborhoods from Little Italy, Canton, Fed Hill, Fells Point, Mt. Vernon, Locust Point, Harbor Point and Harbor East will be featured.

The "Charm'tastic Mile" was published as a USPTO trademark on September 15, 2020. It joined a very select few, The Magnificent Mile, Rodeo Drive, Vegas Strip. The "Charm'tastic Mile" (4-25-2016) shares the same introduction day to Charm City as the Iconic Domino Sugars neon sign (4-25-1951), 65-years apart.

This past April 25th was the official 75th Anniversary (1951-2026) of the majestic Domino Sugars sign being unveiled.
