No Doubt Boots Ennis TKO Victory vs Xander Zayas The "Reasonable BK Bout" in Brooklyn, Jay-Z

Two-days earlier, June 25th was the official 30th Anniversary (1996-2026) release of Jay-Z's debut album "Reasonable Doubt". The fan-favorite headline title for the fight was The "Reasonable BK Bout", which paid homage to Jay-Z and his hometown Brooklyn.  

On the 38th Anniversary of the Mike Tyson vs Michael Spinks Super-Fight Boots Ennis, put on a show in a battle with Xander Zayas at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The two 154 pound Super-welterweights showcased a slug-fest of will. Ennis proved that he belonged in the Best Pound-for-Pound discussion, he also has let it be known that he is the new potential "Face of Boxing". 

Boots rocked Zayas in the 1st-round, sending him to the canvas. The two would go back-and forth in the 2nd-round, by the 3rd-round Xander starts to land punches on Boots and now we have a fight, a mini-version of Hagler vs Hearns, all-out action.

Ennis comes back and drops Zayas to the canvas for a 2nd-time, Boots is on the attack with Xander taking some powerful and crisp punches, but won't go down. The referee and the doctors take a look at Zayas and they let him continue. 

The 6th-round is a slower pace that allows Xander to get himself together. Ennis is still on the attack hitting Zayas with hard body shots. Here's the 7th-round Boots is going in for the kill, he rips punches inside on Xander who's fighting back, Ennis hits him with another series of combinations, Xander drops to one-knee and the fight is over TKO in the 7th. Boots is the new WBA & WBO Super-welterweight Champion. 

Ennis said after the fight, "I had fun", "Xander was good competition, I hope he's OK, and he's looking to take over the division, unify the belts and become the new face of boxing". Xander was taken to the hospital, precautionary to make sure he was OK, Eddie Hearn told Boots at the post-fight press conference. Ennis showed class and concern for Xander. 

This was an impressive performance by Ennis. He has the package, speed, power, balance, ring generalship and a good chin. Let's see who's next for King of Philly Boxing Jaron "Boots" Ennis. There was no doubt that Boots dominated The "Reasonable BK Bout" in Brooklyn.
