Join St. Anne’s Episcopal Church’s Adult Forum as it explores the “wisdom” offered by the biblical books of Ecclesiastes and Job from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Sundays, Aug. 2 – 30, at the back of St. Anne’s sanctuary. St. Anne’s is located in Church Circle in Annapolis, Md.
Sunday topics are “Ecclesiastes” (Aug. 2); “Job Prologue” (Aug. 9); Job Dialogues (Aug. 16); “Job and ”The Speeches from the Whirlwind” (Aug. 23)and “Leading the Good Life” (Aug. 30).
The summer forum is a lay-led, discussion group which seeks to have a balanced, thoughtful, open exchange of ideas and perspectives on how to live a life honoring God, our self, and others. Discussions follow Yale Divinity School’s free online curriculum, which explores topics covered in the “Wisdom literature” of the Old Testament books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Job.
