Capital Gazette Shooting Survivors Will Be On Podcast Miniseries
The Capital Gazette shooting still pains local reporters. A new podcast miniseries will explore these scars, years after the attack.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Capital Gazette shooting was the nation's biggest story for a day, but it eventually faded out of the spotlight. That's the case for many mass shootings, but the story doesn't end there.
What was it like sitting in the same courtroom as the man accused of murdering your colleagues? How did the newspaper continue after the attack? What does this mean for local news?
NPR's "Embedded" podcast will answer these questions in a four-part miniseries. The first episode debuts Thursday.
