Cell Phone Violation Leads to Arrest in Stabbing
Annapolis Police stopped a car for a cell phone violation and found a passenger had just been stabbed. An arrest was made June 19.

This might be the one time that driving while talking on a cell phone is a good thing.
When an Annapolis Police officer stopped a vehicle June 16 for a handheld cell violation, he found that the passenger inside had just been stabbed. The injured man told police who had allegedly stabbed him.
On June 19, police arrested Marcel Blake of Annapolis for the stabbing that occurred in the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue.

Blake, 46, is charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and concealing a dangerous weapon
He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
