Cha Cha Chicken Opens in Annapolis

The restaurant, which features traditional Peruvian cuisine, celebrated its opening on Tuesday.

Cha Cha Chicken, home of authentic Peruvian rotisserie chicken, opened in Annapolis last week.

Mayor Michael Pantelides welcomed the restaurant, located at 1411-B Forest Drive, to Annapolis with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

The restaurant, known for its marinated and charcoal-broiled all-natural chicken, features a combination of Peruvian and American specialities including jumbo wings, salads, entrees, grilled meat, sandwiches and tacos.

Owners Stefanie and Gennaro DiBenedetto strive to provide affordable prices and a casual atmosphere at the restaurant.

“The traditional and seductive flavor of our chicken remains the same as when it was offered in Peru with a marinade flavor that took more than 30 years to develop,” Stefanie DiBenedetto said.

Pantelides voiced support of the restaurant’s opening.

“The atmosphere is festive and offers an opportunity to feel like you are in Peru without having to leave the city,” Pantelides said.
