Charges Pending Against Driver in Fatal Crash: Police
Anne Arundel County Police say a Pasadena teenager was speeding in a stolen car when it crashed and a Baltimore man died.

Charges are pending against a Pasadena teenager who was reportedly driving a stolen car at a high rate of speed when it crashed in Glen Burnie, killing the vehicle’s passenger.
According to Anne Arundel County Police, Edward Jefferson Hanvey II, 18, of the 300 block of Sharon Drive in Pasadena, was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion at about 3:40 a.m. Thursday. The car was southbound at a high rate of speed on East Furnace Branch Road approaching Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard when Hanvey failed to negotiate the sharp, right-hand curve and the car struck the curb and guardrail. The vehicle slid along the guardrail on its roof for about 150 feet before stopping in the grass.
Hanvey allegedly fled the scene on foot, police say, but was found walking along Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. He was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he was treated for injuries and released.
