ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Robert Cray Band and Joe Bonamassa headline this weekend’s Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival set for Sandy Point State Park.

The festival will go on rain or shine. And the Annapolis weather forecast looks gloomy, especially for Saturday, with a 70 percent chance of rain throughout the day. Sunday looks better, with a high of 71, a 40 percent chance of rain and clearing skies by evening.

At the venue you’ll find a crafter village, a variety of food and drink vendors, and lawn seating. Bring a lawn or beach chair or blankets; sun tents may be used as long as they don't block anyone's view of the stage.

With a soggy Saturday predicted, organizers urge concert-goers to bring a poncho, cheap drop cloth or trash bag, extra socks, a towel, baby powder for those hard to keep dry places and an extra layer of clothes.
