Chocolate Binge Festival Coming To Anne Arundel County This Weekend

The Chocolate Binge Festival returns this weekend. The holiday tradition brings chocolatiers, artisans and musicians to downtown Annapolis.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Chocolate Binge Festival returns to downtown Annapolis this Sunday. The holiday tradition will bring chocolatiers, artisans and musicians to the first block of West Street.

Attendees can get a chocolate massage at Sadona Salon + Spa, vote for their favorite gingerbread house at the visitor's center or try a mobile escape room outside Mission Escape Rooms.

Luna Blu Ristorante Italiano and 49 West Coffeehouse, Winebar & Gallery will host wine tastings. 49 West, Cafe Ole and Stan and Joe's Saloon will all have chocolate-themed specials.

The Eastport Volunteer Fire Company will be at the festival collecting nonperishable food and money for its annual food drive.

"Start off the December holiday season with some fun and indulge your sweet tooth at the annual Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival," planners said on their website. "Take a chocolate tour along West Street with chocolate vendors selling various chocolate specialties, including chocolate truffles, caramels, bars, fudge, cookies, cakes, martinis, French macaroons, cupcakes, pies, brownies, and more."

The event, which is hosted by the Inner West Street Association, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available here for $5 plus fees. Kids 12 and under are free.

The festival expects tickets to sell out. If it does not sell out, some tickets will be available at the entrance. These tickets will also cost $5, and they must be paid for in cash.

Parking is available on nearby Calvert Street at the Whitmore, Gott's Court and State parking garages. Attendees can also park on West Street at the Knighton, West Garrett and Park Place parking garages.

West Street parking garages offer a free circulator shuttle to and from the festival that runs every 20 minutes.
