Website rates communities on taxes, recreation and medical care.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A financial website has given Annapolis high marks as a destination for senior citizens, the mayor's office announced this week.
SmartAsset, a New York financial technology company, recently released its second annual study on the Best Places to Retire. The company reviewed communities across the country and produced a Top Ten list for each of the 50 states.
The study rates cities by their tax friendliness, recreational and social opportunities for senior citizens, and the availability of medical care.
