David "Buddy" George Hartlove III, 71, Former Annapolis Police Officer

STEVENSVILLE, MD — David “Buddy” George Hartlove III, a resident of Stevensville and previously of Annapolis, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, in Annapolis, MD. He was 71.
Born January 7, 1944 in Norfolk, VA to Dorothy Eileen Hartlove of Edgewater and the late David G. Hartlove Jr., David graduated from Surrattsville High School in Clinton. He served in the United States Navy. David was employed as an Annapolis City Police officer until his retirement. He was a model train enthusiast.

In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Neal Hartlove, in 2009.
David is survived by a brother and four sisters: Robert Hartlove and his wife Geraldine of Ephrata, PA; Mary Kathleen LoBianco and her husband Gregory of Waldorf, MD; Patricia Platt of Annapolis, MD; Margaret “Peggy” Coulter and her husband John of Severna Park, MD; and Nancy Carey and her husband, Joseph of Huntingtown, MD.

Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater, on Wednesday, Dec. 30, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m.
The interment will be private.
