Man Charged After 'Disturbing' Video Of Animal Cruelty Surfaced
A video shared on social media showed a driver throwing a duckling out the window of a car while traveling along the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A video of a duckling being thrown from a moving vehicle traveling across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge prompted the Maryland Transportation Authority to launch an investigation. The video shot Saturday at approximately 6:30 p.m. shows a driver wearing a bright orange sweatshirt hurling the tiny yellow duckling out the window. The vehicle was traveling along the westbound span of the bridge.
After investigating the incident, the Maryland Transportation Authority arrested 20-year-old Ethan R. Fowler of Stevensville on April 28. He has been charged with two counts of cruelty to animals and two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.
