DNA Links Man to Five Business Burglaries: Police

Annapolis Police allege a Washington, D.C., man broke into Dunkin Donuts, sub shops and other businesses in November 2013.

A Washington, D.C., man currently incarcerated has been accused of burglarizing five Annapolis businesses in 2013.

Annapolis Police say an arrest warrant was issued June 26 for Willie Villery, 63, of Washington, D.C. Detectives linked Villery to the burglaries using DNA evidence, police say.

On Nov. 22 and 23, 2013, these businesses were burglarized: Jerry’s Subs and Pizzas on Bay Ridge Road, Insane Car Audio on West Street, McCormick Paint on Old Solomons Island Road, Subway on Park Place, and Dunkin Donuts on West Street.

The warrant for Villery will charge him with six counts of burglary, two counts of malicious destruction of property, and one count of theft.

Villery is currently in jail for other crimes.
