According to veterinary documents, Charlie suffered burns over a large portion of his body about ten days to two weeks before he was found by police.

While Charlie is expected to fully recover, he has a long road ahead and needs extensive treatments for his wounds.
Anne Arundel County Animal Control officials thanked Waugh Chapel Animal Hospital, which has an account for county animals that need more treatment than the shelter can provide.
Donations are accepted to the account from county residents who want to help with Charlie’s recovery or donations could be made to Friends of Anne Arundel County Animal Control for “Charlie.”
Charlie is not currently available for adoption, but Anne Arundel County and Waugh Chapel have hopes that he can eventually be placed in a loving home.
The shelter is located at 411 Maxwell Frye Road in Millersville. For more information call (410) 222-8900 or visit the shelter’s Facebook page.
