Drop Off Unwanted Prescriptions at Annapolis Police Station

The police department now has a permanent drop box so residents can safely dispose of medicines any weekday.

Annapolis now has its first permanent prescription drug drop-off box located at the police department at 199 Taylor Avenue.

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health placed the drop box in the station lobby.

The public can discard expired, unwanted, and unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays.

Liquid products, intravenous solutions, needles and syringes, and illicit substances should not be dropped in the box.

Unwanted medications can also be dropped off at any of the four Anne Arundel County Police Department district stations.
