Eileen Deborah “Debbie” McNeely, 59, was born on January 17, 1954 in South Bend, IN, to Peter and Eileen Donahue.
Debbie graduated from the University of Michigan and went on to live in Ann Arbor, MI, for 25 years, where she worked for Ford Motor Company. For the past 15 years, Debbie lived in Annapolis and taught at Bates Middle School. Debbie was a dedicated teacher, and was very passionate about the world of education. She was an avid reader, a tea aficionado, and a lover of all things nature.

She is survived by her son Dr. Patrick M. McNeely and his fiancée Dr. Andrea Naranjo-Erazo, her parents, Peter and Eileen Donahue, sister, Mary Kathleen Schneble (Jim), brothers, Patrick Donahue (Stephanie), Peter John Donahue Jr. (Angela), Mark Donahue (Katrina), and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. in Annapolis. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St. in Annapolis.
