
Eileen Harrison Clausey, 99, formerly of Heritage Harbor passed away at Sunrise Senior Living of Annapolis on November 4, 2014. A long-time resident of Annapolis, Eileen was the daughter of Charles D. and Marion V. Harrison, also of Annapolis MD.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Catherine Kelly of Baltimore, MD, Helen Ross and Joseph Harrison of Florida, Charles Loring Harrison of Annapolis, MD, and Doris Sternberg of Virginia Beach VA.
She attended St. Mary’s Elementary School and graduated from Seton High School, Baltimore, MD in 1933, traveling daily by B&A train. Following high school, she graduated from Fleet’s Business School and worked for many years at the Annapolis Bank & Trust at the top of Main Street.

In 1941 she married Patrick F. Clausey of New York, who was employed at the United States Naval Academy Library. After raising her children she returned to work at the AACO Board of Education where she worked for 9 years before retiring in 1975. During her retirement Eileen greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and vacationing on the East Coast with her husband. Eileen enjoyed using her computer to correspond with her family and always looked forward to attending “Harrison Family Reunions”.
She will be remembered and treasured for her determination, her love of life and her laughter. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic church.

Eileen is survived by her two children, Cathleen Jones (Thomas) of Annapolis and Kevin Clausey (Nancy) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Megan Vallejo (Marco), Bryan Jones (Cristina), Michael Clausey (Rebekah), and Christopher Clausey (Candice), as well as her five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Karly, Audrey, Nolan and Eli, along with numerous nephews and nieces and one sister, Lucille Howard of Florida
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 52 years, Patrick , who died in 1993.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the team of Caregivers at Sunrise Senior Living of Annapolis, where she lived for the past three years, and to the nurses and caregivers of Hospice of the Chesapeake.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. John Neuman Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, with a reception following at the church in Seelos Hall. A private service for the family will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake or to The Foundation Fighting Blindness.
