Elderly, Legally Blind Man Missing at Sandy Point State Park
A Pennsylvania man on a trip from his group home to Sandy Point State Park is missing and an overnight search failed to find him.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An elderly Pennsylvania man who is legally blind has gone missing while on a trip to Sandy Point State Park, authorities say.
Maryland Natural Resources Police spokeswoman Candy Thompson says that Burns Brabham, 71, was on a trip to the park with his group home from Pennsylvania.
When the group got ready to leave the park about 3 p.m., leaders noticed he was missing and called police.

Brabham is described as a black man, 5-foot-7, weighing about 230 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes and a white ball cap.
Brabham suffers from mental illness, is not familiar with the area and is legally blind, authorities said. Police are concerned for his well-being.

Thompson says Natural Resources Police officers along with park rangers and state police have searched the water, woods and numerous areas of the park. A state police helicopter with infrared capabilities, as well as search dogs, are also assisting in the search for Brabham.
