Electronics Cord Dangling from Pants Pocket Leads to Arrest
Annapolis Police charged a man with stealing a GPS unit from an unlocked vehicle on Southgate Avenue.

Yet another unlocked car was the target of a theft early Thursday morning, but Annapolis police were able to make an arrest when a telltale cord gave the suspect away.
Police arrested Glenard Moulden, 43, of Annapolis for a theft from vehicle that occurred in the unit block of Southgate Avenue.
Just after 1 a.m. Thursday an officer saw Moulden standing on the corner of West Street and West Washington Street. The officer stopped to talk to Moulden and noticed an electronic cord hanging out of his right pants pocket.

Police say Moulden gave the officer permission to search his pockets and the officer found a GPS unit with car charger attached in the right pocket. When the unit was turned on it showed the home address was set for a house in the unit block of Southgate Avenue.
When police talked to the resident at that home, they reported that the GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked within a fenced-in area of the property.
