Registration for the 6th annual Truxtun Youth Triathlon is now under way.
The race that includes swimming, biking and running for kids age 7-17 is scheduled for June 17, according to a release.
The event has grown to include more than 200 participants and their families.

For the second year, the triathlon will be the second event in a four-part youth triathlon series throughout Maryland, according to the release. The three other triathlons will be held in Frederick, Columbia and Mount Airy in May, July and August, respectively.
Kids who participate in two or more of the four-part series will receive a certificate of recognition from the state of Maryland.

To register for the Truxtun Youth Triathlon, visit www.annapolis.gov/recreation. Fees will increase on April 16.
