ANNAPOLIS, MD — A recent fashion show raised more than $175,000 for Chesapeake Kids, a children's hospice in Anne Arundel County. Chesapeake Kids is a branch of Hospice of the Chesapeake, which is headquartered in Pasadena.

About 350 attendees flocked to the runway to support the 12th annual fundraiser, dubbed Fashion for a Cause. The sold-out gathering took place on June 2 at Porsche Annapolis.

"This unique event began in the morning with Porsche Annapolis surrendering their facility to a production team that turned their new service bay into a happening night spot complete with a fashion runway," Hospice of the Chesapeake said in a press release. "Tool carts lined the walls, food trucks parked outside the garage doors and food and drink vendors set up throughout the room."
