Father’s Day Is Coming: Tell Us About Your Dad

We want to hear from Patch readers: Tell us about your dads for a special Father's Day tribute. Just fill out the form below.

Some dads teach their kids how to throw a great fastball — mine taught me how NOT to throw like a girl. He also taught me to love John Wayne movies, the original "Star Trek" series, and how to swim. Some dads — like my father-in-law — pass on other life lessons: the value of military service, how to perfectly grill a steak, and an appreciation for Hank Williams Sr.

With Father’s Day approaching on Sunday, June 18, we’d love to hear about your dad, too. What makes him special? What did you learn from him? Was he funny or serious or both? What special knowledge did he share with you that you hope to instill in your own children? Share as much or as little as you want.

Just fill out the form below. We may use your comments in a Patch story. We’re asking for your email address in case we need to follow up with you, but it won’t be published. You can also send photos to deb.belt@patch.com with the subject line “My Dad.”
