Find details for the Anne Arundel County adoption special on Aug. 9.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County took in 14 cats and 9 dogs on Wednesday, and the shelter is offering an adoption special on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County operates solely from donations. The shelter provides care to over 2,000 homeless animals per year.

On Saturday, any cat with a diamond on its cage will have a reduced adoption fee.
