Free Flu Vaccine Available for County's Senior Citizens

Anne Arundel County residents age 65 and older can make an appointment to receive a free flu vaccine.

Senior citizens in Anne Arundel County can receive free flu vaccines at either of two Department of Health clinics in October.

These high-dose flu vaccine clinics are by appointment only for county residents age 65 and older, and supplies are limited, according to a news release.

The clinics will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations:

• Monday, Oct. 6 – Glen Burnie Health Center, 416 A Street, S.W. in Glen Burnie.

Although the immunizations are free, the department accepts donations to help pay the cost of administering the vaccines.
