Galleries at Quiet Waters Park Art Reception

A reception was held at Quiet Waters Park on January 10.

“Midwinter Melange,” opened this week at Quiet Waters Park with Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor Paintings, fabric sculptures, weaving, painted silk scarves and creative knitted items. The seven participating artists are members of the Fine Arts Committee of Quiet Waters Park. Participating artists are Jean Opilla, Gail Olmsted, Mary Lynn Willard, David Diaz, Richard Nieworth, Bobbie Hecklinger and Marietta Schreiber. The exhibit will run through February 14, 2016.

Titles from the photos are as follows:

1. Four retired art teachers, all members of the Fine Arts Committee of Quiet Waters Park, exhibit their work. Marietta Schreiber, David Diaz, Jean Opilla, and Richard Nieworth.

2. Donna Rhody, Churchton, with Andy Loftus, Friends of Quiet Waters Park Board, and Dinah Little, Chairman of the Fine Arts Committee of Quiet Waters Park, both of Annapolis.

3. Debbie Deschamps and Carol Melchner view the artwork at the reception Sunday at the Galleries at Quiet Waters Park.
