German Shepherd Found Roaming Annapolis: Police

Are you missing a German shepherd? Annapolis Police found a well-mannered pooch roaming the streets Wednesday.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — While German shepherds are a common canine dog with police departments across the country, Annapolis Police picked up a well-mannered furry friend roaming the streets Wednesday.

On Facebook the department said the dog was found by officers "running around near Glenwood Street and Clay Street."

The dog had no microchip to lead police to its owner, so the wanna-be canine was taken to the SPCA facility at 1815 Bay Ridge Avenue. To claim the dog call 410-268-4388.
