'Green Restaurant Week' Features Annapolis, Anne Arundel County Restaurants

Participating restaurants in Green Restaurant Week March 12-18 include Azure, Galway Bay, Preserve and more.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis paired up to bring residents Green Restaurant Week to celebrate and promote area restaurants certified with the best environmental practices in the Restaurant Stewardship Program.

The event runs from Sunday, March 12, to Saturday, March 18.

Diners can enjoy specials on food and drinks exclusive to Green Restaurant Week from each restaurant.

Specials vary, but a few restaurants have provided a sample list for the week.

Blackwall Hitch will serve $12 lunch menu and a $29.95 three-course surf and turf dinner all week long.

Preserve will serve specials such as their blackened blue catfish, gem lettuce salad and crispy quinoa cakes.

Herrington on the Bay diners can expect specials on their Italian meatballs, Maryland corn cakes and Southern Maryland rockfish.
