'Green Restaurant Week' Under Way In Annapolis, Anne Arundel County
Restaurants in Green Restaurant Week through March 18 include Azure, Galway Bay, Preserve and more in Anne Arundel County.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Need to shake up your food scene? Green Restaurant Week is under way with venues in Annapolis and around Anne Arundel County taking part in the event, which runs through Saturday, March 18. Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis paired up to offer the week as a way to celebrate and promote area restaurants certified with the best environmental practices in the Restaurant Stewardship Program.
Diners can enjoy specials on food and drinks exclusive to Green Restaurant Week from each restaurant.

- Azure: Located in The Westin Annapolis at 100 Westgate Circle, Annapolis
- Blackwall Hitch: 400 Sixth St., Annapolis
- Boatyard Bar and Grill: Severn Ave. & Fourth St., Annapolis
- Brian Boru: 489 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park
- Cafe Mezzanotte: 760 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park
- A Cooks Cafe: 911 Commerce Rd., Annapolis
- Galway Bay: 63 Maryland Ave., Annapolis
- Herrington on the Bay: 7151 Lake Shore Drive, North Beach
- Killarney House: 584 West Central Ave., Davidsonville
- Preserve: 164 Main St., Annapolis
Specials vary, but a few restaurants have provided a sample list for the week.
Blackwall Hitch will serve $12 lunch menu and a $29.95 three-course surf and turf dinner all week long.

Preserve will serve specials such as their blackened blue catfish, gem lettuce salad and crispy quinoa cakes.
Herrington on the Bay diners can expect specials on their Italian meatballs, Maryland corn cakes and Southern Maryland rockfish.
