Gun-Wielding Route 50 Driver Is At Large: Police
The Maryland State Police are investigating a road rage incident reported on Saturday night near the Severn River bridge.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A motorist who was driving on Route 50 on Saturday night told the Maryland State Police that another motorist drove erratically and waved a gun at him, the police said in a statement. The State Police are investigating the incident as a case of road rage.
No shots were believed to have been fired and no injuries were reported, the State Police said. The individual who brandished the firearm drove away and could not be found.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, the unidentified motorist reported to the State Police that he had just been involved in a road rage incident on Route 50 near the Severn River Bridge. The victim was driving on westbound Route 50 when he said he spotted the Nissan driving erratically. As he tried to drive around the other car, the Nissan sped up, moved into his lane in front and “brake checked” him, suddenly tapping on his brakes.
Both vehicles kept moving westbound, and at some point, the victim said he pulled up next to the Nissan and the car's driver waved a gun in his direction.
