Gunshots Hit Pedestrian, Cab and House: Police

A man was shot in the ankle Monday night when shots were fired from an Annapolis house.

An Annapolis man told police he was shot in the ankle while walking past a house where shots were fired Monday night.

The incident happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue.

The 19-year-old victim suffered a bullet graze wound to his ankle.

He told police that he arrived in the neighborhood in a cab and as he was walking to the front door of a residence shots rang out and he was struck.

Bullets also struck the cab the victim arrived in and at least one home, but there were no other injuries reported.

The victim refused medical treatment.
