Heat Advisory Tuesday in Annapolis
National Weather Service warns of a "feels like" temperature around 105 degrees.

The heat will reach dangerous levels Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
A heat advisory is in effect from 1-7 p.m. Tuesday. The heat index, or “feels like” temperature, is expected to be around 105 degrees.
There’s a risk of heat-related illness for those without air conditioning or those outdoors for an extended period, according to the NWS.

Individuals working outside or spending a lot of time outside should take extra precautions, including
- rescheduling activities for the morning or late evening
- wearing light weight and loose fitting clothing
- drinking plenty of water
- scheduling frequent breaks in shade or air conditioned environments.
Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location, according to the NWS.
