Heroin Found With Man Sleeping On Side Of Glen Burnie Road: Police

A Baltimore man faces drug charges after Anne Arundel County Police reportedly found him asleep along the side of a Glen Burnie road.

Note: Police released the wrong age for the suspect, the error has been corrected.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Baltimore man faces several drug charges after Anne Arundel County Police reportedly found him asleep along the side of a road. Officers were called to the 6400 block of Polk Circle just before 1 p.m.Saturday for a report of an injured man, but instead found Levar Atturra Octavion Cooper, 23, of Baltimore, was asleep on the ground.

Authorities say Cooper was found with a plastic bag containing suspected crack cocaine, and an open backpack containing suspected illegal narcotics was reportedly found with him. Officers searched Seale's backpack and reportedly found 13 grams of suspected powder cocaine, seven grams of suspected marijuana, 51 capsules of suspected heroin, 10 pills of Alprazolam, and a digital scale. Also seized was $1,637 in cash and 16 $5 silver certificates.

The suspect was taken to the Northern District police station where he was further processed and charged.
