Heroin Sale Leads To Drug Charges Against 2 Annapolis Men

Annapolis Police have arrested a man and a teenager for allegedly selling and possessing heroin.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis and state police officers working to combat gang activities arrested a man and a teenager Tuesday night on charges of selling heroin. According to Annapolis Police, officers saw Bdonshee Wells, 23, and Carlos Wallace, 16, both of Annapolis, traveling together to complete a drug deal.

When the suspects' vehicle was stopped by officers in the 1900 block of West Street, police say Wells fled, was arrested and two half-gram bags of suspected heroin were found in his possession.

Police charged Wells with possession of CDS with the intent to distribute and possession of narcotics. He is being held on $25,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center. Wells also had an active warrant for violation of probation in a drug distribution case.

Wallace remained in the vehicle and officers found that he had a loaded handgun in his possession. Police charged Wallace as an adult with seven criminal counts related to possession of a handgun and drug violations. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $3,000 bond.

The arrests were made by the Annapolis Police Department's Flex Unit with the Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit.
