Hogan Administration Maryland.gov Website Wins Another Award: It’s Fourth
The Hogan Administration's www.Maryland.gov has been awarded the 2017 Gold Award in the Government Websites Category, by AVA Digital Awards.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – February 8, 2017 – The Hogan Administration’s www.Maryland.gov has been awarded the 2017 Gold Award in the Government Websites Category, by AVA Digital Awards. AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media.
The award comes on the heels of three other top honors: Best of the Web by the Center for Digital Government, Best in Class by the interactive Media Council and the 2016 Gold Davey Award from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. “These awards solidify Maryland.gov as a top flight resource for Maryland taxpayers in doing business with our state,” said Luis Estrada, Deputy Secretary of the Maryland Department of Information Technology.
The Maryland.gov website was developed for the state of Maryland at no cost by NIC Maryland, through the self-funded eGovernment services contract with the Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT). The Center for Digital Government is an international research and advisory institute on the use of information technology in government.
