Join Us for Relay For Life of East Anne Arundel County

On April 22-23, 2017, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of East Anne Arundel County (previously Relay For Life of Arnold/Annapolis) will be held at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. We will join over 5,000 Relay communities nationwide and around the world in the fight against cancer as we honor and remember those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s nationwide signature event. This annual overnight event involves teams who raise money in advance through donations and fundraising to support cancer research,
educational programs, patient services and advocacy.

On the day of the Relay, teams camp out and take turns walking or running around the track while they enjoy hours of fun, food, entertainment,and camaraderie in a huge celebration of life! Inspirational moments include the Opening Ceremony with Survivor Victory Lap and the beautiful Luminaria Ceremony where candles are lit in honor or in memory of those who have fought cancer.

Cancer survivors are encouraged to register and attend our Survivor's Reception. The reception will be held directly preceding the Opening Ceremony. Each survivor is able to invite a caregiver to attend the reception
as a guest.
