Labor Day Weekend Parade, Concert Planned In Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The annual Elks Pre-Labor Day Parade will kick off at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1. There will be street performers, dance troupes, marching bands and more. The parade begins at West Street and ends on Calvert Street.

Also on Sept. 1 will be Pops in the Park with the Annapolis Symphony. The musicians will perform a rousing program of familiar film scores from movies like Titanic, Chicago and Superman. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m. at Quiet Waters Park.
