Music Festival Brings Lynyrd Skynyrd, Goo Goo Dolls To Anne Arundel This Weekend

A music festival in Anne Arundel County will feature Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Goo Goo Dolls. Here's the full line-up for this weekend's shows.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Let's Go Music Festival returns to Crownsville this weekend. Two classic rock bands and a country singer will headline the second annual festival at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will take the stage Friday. The southern rock group is famous for anthems like "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird."

Billy Currington will headline Saturday. The contemporary country artist is best known for hits like "Do I Make You Wanna" and "It Don't Hurt Like It Used To."

The Goo Goo Dolls will lead the bill on Sunday. The alternative rock band made a splash with songs like "Iris" and "Slide."

Performances will start an hour after gates open each day. A DJ will play music until then. The DJ will also return for a half-hour set between each act.

Single-day tickets are still available for $79.99 plus fees. Full-weekend passes cost $189.99 plus fees.

Attendees can bring their own water bottles to fill up for free at the festival. The bottles must be clear, plastic, empty and 32 ounces or less.

Bags should be clear.

Planners encouraged festivalgoers to follow these steps to load their wristbands beforehand. This will enable cashless payments for food and drink.

Organizers already mailed out wristbands to everybody who bought their tickets before May 3.

Anybody who bought their passes afterward can pick up their wristbands at the box office at the fairgrounds, located at 1450 Generals Highway. The box office is open

  • Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday starting at noon
  • Anytime during festival hours

The Let's Go Music Festival debuted last July as a two-day event at the same location. That weekend featured Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray and Gin Blossoms.
