Lights On The Bay 2018: Hours, Ticket Prices, Special Events
Lights on the Bay in Sandy Point State Park is open through Jan. 1, and offers a nightly scavenger hunt while helping the SCPA.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park outside Annapolis is open for the holiday season and plans a number of family-friendly events at the outdoor light show. The display is open from 5 to 10 p.m. and runs every night through Jan. 1, 2019. All proceeds will go directly to the SPCA to help care for the animals.
SPCA of Anne Arundel County presents the 25th annual Lights on the Bay holiday light show, featuring a two-mile scenic drive along the Chesapeake Bay with more than 70 animated and stationary displays illuminating the roadway. In addition to popular classic displays such as a colonial village inspired by historic Annapolis and one of the USNA midshipmen tossing their hats in the air, guests will also be treated to two featured displays this season: Santa’s Train Station and North Pole Penguin Village.
Children can participate in a nightly scavenger hunt, challenging them to find items within the show, answer display-related questions and enter a drawing to win prizes. As always, Santa will make an appearance on Thanksgiving Day.
