The temperature was 7 degrees in Annapolis on Tuesday, Jan. 7, but inside the Annapolis Senior Activity Center the cold seniors gradually thawed as they began line dancing.
The party started out slow, according to Mary Crowner, the center’s office manager. “We had about 20 people here, but no one wanted to get on the floor,” she said.
All that changed when Kathy McIntyre’s line dance class showed up. The party started at 12:30 p.m. About 25 of McIntyre’s students showed up around 1 p.m., and they continued dancing until 3 p.m.

By that time, everyone had warmed up and had enjoyed not only the dancing, but cookies, party mix and punch.
Chalk up another successful party for the Annapolis Senior Activity Center and its seniors and staff.
