Lost Keys Lead to Stolen Car: Annapolis Police Reports

Also, child abuse will be the topic of the Feb. 10 Neighborhood Watch meeting.

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 269 calls for service and arrested 24 people.

Robbery – 2000 block of Forest Dr – 01/30 at 3:15pm: The adult male victim was inside his home when he was confronted by two adult male suspects with handguns. The suspects demanded property and money. They stole an Apple MacBook Air laptop computer and fled the home.

Stolen and Recovered Vehicle – 1800 block of Bowman Dr – 01/30 at 11pm to 01/31 at 2:30am: Anne Arundel County Police officers located an unoccupied 2005 Mercury Marquis in a ditch at Admiral Dr and Old Admiral Dr. Annapolis Police officers contacted the vehicle owner in Annapolis. The owner was unaware that her vehicle had been stolen when the officers contacted her. She reported that she had lost a set of her vehicle keys several months ago.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. This meeting’s speaker is Detective Tom Pyles and the topic will be child abuse investigation. Food will be served so please RSVP to Cpl.
